The Courage Classic is a bike ride consisting of 157 miles over 3 days on a brutal tour of the Rocky Mountains including 3 mountain peaks.
I'll be honest with you, there is no way I could do the first day's mileage on flat ground but I hope to be ready by July 26th. It is going to take a lot of work and time in the saddle but more importantly it is for a good cause.
The Children's Hospital has been helping kids from across Colorado, the Rocky Mountain region, and the United States heal from illnesses and injuries. Children's is one of the nation's top pediatric research hospitals, trains more pediatricians and pediatric specialists than any other hospital in the region and ensures kids' health issues are in front of our local, state and federal legislators. U.S. News & World Report and CHILD Magazine both rank The Children's Hospital as one of the top 10 pediatric hospitals in the United States.
The Children's Hospital is a not-for-profit organization and relies heavily upon support of donors to achieve its mission. Over the past 19 years, the Courage Classic has raised more than $19.6 million for Children's, thanks to hard-working rider-fundraisers and generous sponsor support.
Help support me reach my goal of raising $325 for The Children's Hospital. To donate please check out my Courage Rider Profile. Stop back often to see how the training is going and an update on the final ride.
