Sarah's brother, Matt, is a junior at Cornell this year. He decided to spend spring semester on the other side of the world--Africa. Matt stayed with us for a couple of days before his flight(s) to the old world (I want to say there were at least five). Of course he was anxious and worried about the trip but he promised to take lots of photos and post to his new blog as much as possible. He has been soaking up the Zanzibar culture ever since and putting lots of it online.
This brings me to the point. While I'm sure many of you have never met the guy, I think that he writes with such a strong voice it doesn't matter. It is a funny look at the pros / cons of visiting a new culture. Here is the link to the main page:

Use the calendar on the left to chronologically navigate through the posts and try to catch up. At the bare minimum skim through and check out his photos--amazing.
PS you may be wondering what snowboarding has to do with any of this? Well, nothing. It is the only photo of Matt that I have. Sarah is on the far right and Matt is left of her, then Marty and Chris.

I should have also mentioned Matt's photography blog:

It doesn't look like he has updated it much but check out his work.
